Launch party

Susan, I am so disappointed. I just found out this morning that I have to go out of town for unavoidable business that week, and will have to miss the launch party. I can't even tell you how disappointed I am. It's the price of having a "day job" that's unrelated to my blog, but pays my bills - it makes it hard for me to prioritize the things that I really want to do over the things that I have to do.

I do hope that we'll have another chance to meet sometime. And I hope that the launch party is a spectacular success for you.

Oh major bummer that is but I sure understand the "day job" after all, we need to support our book habits.

Maybe we can do dinner sometime? Or lunch or linner? I work 6-3 but can flex my hours most of the time. I work in Milpitas and live in San Jose near Camden and 85.

That would be great! I live in west San Jose near Stevens Creek, and I work from home (when I'm not traveling for work). So, some sort of late lunch / early dinner sometime would work.
